Tourist Dies, Three Critical After Accumulation Of Gas In Room In Mansehra

One tourist died and three others critical owing to accumulation of gas in their room at picturesque Naran town here on Friday.

MANSEHRA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jan, 2019 ) :One tourist died and three others critical owing to accumulation of gas in their room at picturesque Naran town here on Friday.

Police said four friends Hasnain,Aamir, Umra Khan and Zeb Shah, residents of Abbottabad and Manshera had gone to Naran for winter vacations to enjoy snowfall and lighted coal in the room due to extreme cold weather and slept.

Poisonous gas accumulated in the room as a result of which they found unconscious and were rushed to King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra. Hasnain, a resident of Mira, Abbottabad died and condition of Umar Khan was stated to be critical. The other two friends are also under treatment. Police said the body of thedeceased tourist was handed over to family members after postmortem.
