Traffic Wardens Directed To Take Strict Action Against Illegal Parking In Rawalpindi

City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi will take strict action against parking rules violators as illegal and wrong parking is creating hindrance in smooth flow of traffic on city roads.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi will take strict action against parking rules violators as illegal and wrong parking is creating hindrance in smooth flow of traffic on city roads.
According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Muhammad Bin Ashraf, special traffic squads and enhanced number of traffic wardens have been deployed at all main roads and intersections of the city whereas helpline 1915 and 051-9272616 have been set up at Race Course Traffic Office with deployment of special squad.
The motorists would be allowed to park their vehicles only in the parking areas of the shopping centers and the markets.
He said the arrangements are being made to control the traffic mess especially in congested areas so that the citizens could reach at their destinations within shortest possible time.
The CTO said, traffic wardens have been directed to work with dedication and commitment to ensure trafficflow so that traffic jam problem on city roads could be avoided.
