Training Course For Anti-riot Force Concludes

A training course for 41 personnel of anti-riot force of the Punjab police has been completed here to enhance the emergency response skills of police personnel and train them tackle mob situations
A specialized course was designed for the purpose as per international guidelines and training was imparted to police officials.
Director General Rescue Punjab Dr Rizwan Naseer, addressing the concluding ceremony at Rescue Headquarters here on Saturday, he congratulated all anti-riot policemen on successful completion of the course.
He also appreciated the police initiative launched for specialized services such as anti-riots, Dolphin squad and other police services, to provide immediate help to people.
As many as 41 anti-riot force personnel got training through lectures and practical demonstration, followed by simulation exercise of emergency response. The topic including golden hour management, basic life supports, CPR, wound & fracture management, bleeding control, spinal injury, Triage, drowning, burn injury, spine board shifting, first aid, rescue techniques, emergency and non-emergency moves training imparted through lectures, presentations and scenario based practical of emergency response.
On this occasion, DIG Operations Waqas Nazir thanked Rescue 1122 for providing training facility to police officials.
