KARAK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jan, 2019 ) :Masked assailants riding a motorcycle shot dead a transgender and critically injured another in the jurisdiction of Banda police station here during midnight.

Police said three transgender from Peshawar had gone to Karak to attend a dance party in a wedding ceremony.

On way back unknown assailants fired at their vehicle in Jatta Ismailkhel area, killing one of the transgender and injuring another.

The deceased transgender was identified as Jahangir son of Abdur Rashid, resident of Mansehra while the injured transgender Mushtaq belonged to Peshawar. The injured transgender was shifted to hospital for treatment.

The injured transgender Mushtaq son of Asmatullah nominated one Hamdan as one of the attacker.

Police after cordoning off the area, have started search forthe assailants.
