Transport deptt bans inter-provincial, intra city transport from May 8 -16

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :The Department of Transport and Mass Transit, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Thursday banned all types of inter-provincial, inter-district and intra-city public transport during the Eid holidays to prevent spread of coronavirus.

The ban would be effective from May 8 to May16.

Meanwhile,all stations and bus stands would remain closed in the stipulated time period. However, this order would not apply on medical, emergency vehicles, goods and freight.Private vehicles, taxis and cabs and rickshaws would be allowed to carry 50 per cent of passengers.
