Trauma Center Treats 213,845 Patients In 2018

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :Medical Superintendent Civil Hospital Bahawalpur, Dr Muhammad Rashid Khan Thursday said the Emergency and Accidents Department and Trauma Centre has provided treatment to 213,845 patients during last year.
Talking to media here, he said the Civil Hospital was established few years ago by the Punjab government.It had provided treatment to millions of patients during the last few years, he added.
He said that over one million patients were brought to Civil Hospital during last year where they were examined and provided with medical care.
He reiterated that 927,686 patients visited Outdoor Department of Civil Hospital while 8,337 patients had undergone medical operations in last one year.
About 46,260 patients were admitted to medical, surgical and other wards of the hospital, he informed.
Laboratory tests of 551,100 patients, ECG of 11,747 patients, X-ray of 38,645 and CT scan of 2,763 patients were also conducted in the hospital during last year.
