Tree Plantation Drive Starts At Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU)

The Tree Plantation Drive at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur has entered into third consecutive day and various departments participate in it to convert the campus green and to beat scorching heat and compete global warming.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :The Tree Plantation Drive at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur has entered into third consecutive day and various departments participate in it to convert the campus green and to beat scorching heat and compete global warming.
The Plantation drive was initiated on the directives of the Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr Parveen Shah here on Friday.
The students of department of business administration and the Institute of English Language and Literature planted trees.
In a colorful ceremony held at department of Business administration attended by the dean faculty of management sciences and faculty members.
On the occasion, about 100 saplings were planted by the students of Business Administration which were donated by the Divisional Forest Officer, Ghotki.
In an other ceremony, the Director Institute of English Language and Literature Professor Dr Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and faculty members of the Institute planted saplings of shadowy, fruits and ornamental plants to put their share in the drive.
