MITHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 14th March, 2019) Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that if there was true accountability in the country, the majority of the members of the parliament and the cabinet ministers would be behind the bars.He was addressing the inaugural function of a 60-bed hospital set up by Al-Khidmat Foundation at Mithi, in Thar area.Sirajul Haq said that the problems of poverty and the deprivations of the people in Thar area could not be overcome without bringing about an Islamic revolution.He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and the past government made several promises with the people of Thar but the plight of the people had not changed.

However, he said, the Al-Khidmat Foundation had gifted the area people a 60 bed hospital. He said he felt highly satisfied while visiting the hospital and on noticing the dedication of the doctors and the staff.He said that provision of totally free medical facility at the hospital spoke of the great achievement of the concerned people.

He said that the JI and the Al-Khidmat Foundation would continue to serve the people all over the country including Sindh, with the sense of service to the humanity.

Asked to comment on the government's performance, he said since the government had not shown any performance, he had nothing to comment on.

He said that perhaps the government people would spend their five year term in learning the art of government.JI deputy chief Asadullah Bhutto said on the occasion that the provision of free medical treatment to nearly one lakh patients was a big challenge for the Sindh government.

However, he said that the JI had rendered a great service for establishing the hospital in Thar.Speaking on the occasion, JI Sindh chief Muhammad Husain Mehnati, said that the JI had already installed a net work of wells and hospitals in Sindh for the local people.President of the Al-Khidmat Foundation, Abdul Shakoor, paid tributes to JI senior leader and former Karachi Mayor Nematullah khan, for his services in the setting up of the Al-Khdmat Foundation He urged the wealthy people to make liberal donations for running the Al-Khidmat foundation projects.
