Twitter Blocks Official Account Of Punjab CM’s Spokesperson

Dr Shahbaz Gill said he had not received any information upon the suspension of his Twitter account.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th January, 2018) Mico-blogging website Twitter has blocked the account of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s spokesperson Dr Shahbaz Gill.
The reason for the account suspension is not known yet.
Dr Shahbaz Gill said he had not received any information upon the suspension of his Twitter account.
He said that he was not informed of any reason for blocking his account.
Dr Shahbaz Gill often used to issue clarification statements over fake and baseless reports against the Punjab government.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has demanded Twitter to restore the spokesperson’s account.
“@Twitter - Dr Shahbaz Gill - Official spokesperson of Chief Minister Punjab @UsmanAKBuzdar , his account has been suspended when there was NO violation of any Twitter policy or rules. Would request twitter to look into it and lift the suspension immediately. @verified” a tweet from the party’s official handle said.
