Two Groups Fined Rs 2 Mln Over Clash In Political Katchery In South Waziristan

The District Administration has imposed Rs 2 million fine on two groups of different tribes for opening fire on each other in the premises of Political Katchery over some dispute.
Assistant Commissioner Sarokai Yousaf Ali addressing a Jirga of both the tribes here at his office, said that nobody would be allowed to disrupt the peace process and take law in hand.
He said the two groups were fined with Rs 1 million each and given warning that in case of any dispute in future they would be taken to task. He said that taking care of peace in premises of political Katchery was in vital interest of tribal people.
