
Two More Congo Virus Patients Brought To Quetta

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th August, 2016) : Two more Congo virus patients have been admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and TB Hospital Quetta, doctors confirmed on Friday. Doctors said that two patients suffering bleeding from nose and mouth were brought from Panjpai and Loralai areas to Quetta, respectively who were admitted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and TB Hospital.
"Essa Muhammad belongs to Panjpai and Khan from Loralai," they said, adding that both were suffering from bleeding from nose and mouth. "We have sent blood samples of the patients to Aga Khan Hospital Laboratory in Karachi for diagnose and waiting for their test reports," doctors said.
Total 86 patients were brought to Isolation Ward of Fatima Jinnah Chest and TB Hospital, out of them 22 had been tested positive in laboratory reports. "Nine of them including a woman of Afghanistan had died of Congo virus at the hospital this year," said Dr. Mukhtar.
