Two MQM-London Operators Arrested In Karachi

Two operatives of MQM's London Fraction, South Africa network were arrested by law enforcement agencies in the wee hours of Wednesday during search operation in Orangi Town area.

Karachi, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jul, 2018) : Two operatives of MQM's London Fraction, South Africa network were arrested by law enforcement agencies in the wee hours of Wednesday during search operation in Orangi Town area.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Police conducted a joint raid in Orangi Town area of Karachi and two suspects of MQM London.

"The suspects identified as Bilal and Arshad had planned on targeting candidates of opposing parties ahead of the July 25 polls," he said.

"Teams of target killers were formed in June by MQM-London's South Africa network to sabotage peaceful elections by targeting political leaders," the spokesperson added. The Rangers spokesperson further said, "During initial investigations, the suspects confessed to receiving financial assistance from MQM-London." The arrests come a week before the July 25 polls.
