Two Sentenced To Death, Two Imprisoned In Attock District Murder Cases

Two individuals were sentenced to death and two others received imprisonment in separate murder cases in Attock district on Friday

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Aug, 2024) Two individuals were sentenced to death and two others received imprisonment in separate murder cases in Attock district on Friday.

According to correspondent of APP from Attock, in the first case, Naeem Abbas was handed the death penalty for murdering a man at the New Airport Police Station, while co-accused Taqi Abbas and Imran Shah received four-year jail terms for attempted murder.

The court also imposed fines on the convicts as damages to be paid to the legal heirs of the deceased.

In a separate case, Muhammad Yasin was sentenced to death for killing a 24-year-old man, Muhammad Ehsan, in Pindigheb over an old enmity. The court imposed a fine of Rs 0.5 million on Yasin as damages. Five co-accused were acquitted due to lack of evidence.
