UC Chairmen To Hire Machinery On Rent For Cleanliness

Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha has said that chairman of each union council will hire machinery on rent for cleanliness of villages on daily basis under "Clean Village Programme"
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2017 ) :Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatha has said that chairman of each union council will hire machinery on rent for cleanliness of villages on daily basis under "Clean Village Programme".
Presiding over a meeting to review progress on the "Clean Village Programme" of the Punjab government here on Monday, DC Nadir Chatha said that work continues on a historical package to make villages clean.
He said that the chairman of each union council would be directed to hire machinery on rent for cleanliness on daily basis. He stated that the garbage would be removed from streets of all villages while ditches had been made to burry garbage.
Nadir Chatha maintained that special prizes would be given to the union council chairman over best cleanliness. He added that cleanliness operation would continue on permanent basis by the provincial government.
