UC Secretary Held Over Corruption

SAHIWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) arrested a secretary of union council (UC) for corruption.

According to spokesperson here on Thursday, Irfan Mohammad Khan r/o resident of village 118/12-L filed an application stating that secretary of 7/14-L UC Arshad Javed demanded Rs 5000 as bribe for issuance of divorce certificate.

On the direction of Regional Director (RD) Babar Rehman Warraich,the ACE team led by ACE officer Abid Bhalla along with Civil Judge Chichawatni Waqas Hashim conducted raid and arrested the secretary while taking bribe red-handed and and recovered the marked Currency notes.

Anti-Corruption police registered case and started further investigation.
