Ulema Peace Committee Devises "Muharram Peace Plan" For Ensuring Peaceful Muharram-ul-Haram

The members of Ulema Peace Committee have unanimously finalised a 'Muharram Peace Plan' for observing religious amity and promoting religious harmony among Muslims during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :The members of Ulema Peace Committee have unanimously finalised a 'Muharram Peace Plan' for observing religious amity and promoting religious harmony among Muslims during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

Chairman Ulema Peace Committee Mufti Aqeel-ur-Rehman Pirzada told APP that Ulema had vowed to ensure respecting the sanctity of each other's faith during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram.

He said Ulema and Mashaikh would organise peaceful processions at the district level for ensuring peaceful passing and culmination of Muharram-ul-Haram, especially Youm-e-Ashur and Chehlum processions of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).

He said Ulema were playing exemplary role in ensuring peace and harmonious atmosphere among all sects in coordiation with provincial, district authorities. Ulema had also played similar vital role in ensuring peace in last years Muharram-ul-Haram.

He said Ulema Peace Committee had chalked out comprehensive plan to organise conferences, conventions and seminars in the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haram for promoting harmony among all sects of Muslims.

He urged the fellow countrymen to play their role in promoting religious harmony and eliminating intolerance to disseminate a message to the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country having exemplary relations among all sects.
