Ulemas Asked To Promote Religious Harmony

Jamiyet -e- Ulema -e-Islam (JUP) Chief and religious scholar Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair appealed to leaders of the different religious group and parties of Hyderabad to maintain sectarian harmony during the month of Muharram Ul Haram.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2018 ) :Jamiyet -e- Ulema -e-Islam (JUP) Chief and religious scholar Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair appealed to leaders of the different religious group and parties of Hyderabad to maintain sectarian harmony during the month of Muharram Ul Haram.
Talking to APP here on Monday, he urged the religious clerics to bolster inter-faith religious harmony and avoid delivering provocative speeches during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Haraam.
Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair said that negative elements wanted to magnify sectarian differences in the Muslim societies and that the issue must be dealt with through unity and brotherhood.
He called upon religious scholars to play their role in creating unity among muslins by taking practical steps to nullify the propaganda against Islam, adding that islam always advocated patience and respect to the opinion of others.
Leader of Member of Milli Yehjehti Council Moulana Abdul waheed Qureshi also appealed for promoting social justice and forbearance in the society to achieve the objectives of inter-sect harmony, adding that division of the society, hatred and arrogant behaviors of individuals coupled with prioritizing sects over the religion were some major issues that needed immediate attention, added.
The General Secretary of Wahadat-ul-Muslameen, Sindh Allama Maqsood Domki appealed to leaders of the different religious group and parties of Hyderabad to maintain sectarian harmony during the month of Muharram Ul Haram.
Allama Maqsood Domki has demanded from the Sindh government to make sure that the district administrations implement the code of conduct for processions and religious gatherings during Moharam ul-Haram.
He also emphasized the need to follow a code of conduct to eradicate extremism from the society and promote peace, tolerance, unity and brotherhood.
