Unwholesome Meat Seized: 4 Arrested
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) : A team of livestock department headed by District Officer Livestock Dr Saliha Gull seized 160 kilograms meat of dead animals and arrested 4 butchers.
A spokesman of the Livestock Department said here on Monday, the team, on a tip-off, conducted a raid in the city area and seized more than 160 kg meat of dead animals which was being transported by a loader van.
The raiding team also caught four accused Muhammad Shafiqur Rehman, Shafaat Ali, Nusrat and Shabana from the spot and later handed them over to the Mansoorabad police for further action. A case has been registered against the accused.
