UoS Organises Exhibition On Mass Communication Projects

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2017 ) : Mass Communication and Media Studies Department, University of Sargodha (UoS), Thursday organised an exhibition comprising Projects of Public Relations, Advertisements and Video Documentaries.
The exhibition was held here at Jinnah Hall.It attracted a large number of students, faculty members and people belonging to all walks of life. They also appreciated novelty of the event initiated by the students.
The 4th and 8th semester students of Masters and BS classes set up the stall beautifully with swags and other goods. Arts and Law Faculty's Dean Dr Muhammad Nawaz Mahsud inaugurated the exhibition and commended the student's efforts.
He said that culture based documentaries with historical perspective were presenting real picture of the past. The folk stories of Heer Ranjha, Hiran Minar and an excited story of Pakistan Army were among the projects while a Currency notes stall was also established to attract attention of the visitors particularly the archaeological coins of the Alexander era were the center of gravity.
A thrilled map of Pakistan was also displayed with coins making history while Rescue 1122 stall also attracted a large number of people, in which rescue tips were presented. To highlight the Police image, the students also set up a stall for showing the police as the protector of lives and property of people.
Recognizing the efforts of students, the Dean said that students of the Mass Communication have proved themselves jacks of all trade though their excellent work of art. He hoped that Mass Communication students would continue their practical and beneficial impressive tasks with more spirit.
