Jahangir Tareen has strongly rejected all such reports and said that Buzdar has complete support of the party and he will complete his term.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th April, 2019) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen, while rubbishing all the reports of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar being removed, has said that he will complete his term.
Jahangir Tareen has strongly rejected all such reports and said that Buzdar has complete support of the party and he will complete his term.
Tareen added that all the reports about Usman Buzdar’s replacement quoting him are false.
“These reports are being aired by some elements to create a rift in the party,” he said, adding that such elements will not succeed.
The news regarding the removal of Punjab CM has been circulating in media for a long time now.
Several people claim that it had been decided that he will no more continue as Punjab’s chief executive.
However, these reports are being repeatedly denied by the government.
Earlier, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said Wednesday that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was not quitting as Prime Minister Imran Khan was standing with him.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan also said Punjab that CM is not going anywhere as all PTI MPAs showed confidence on him.
She said political opponents were spreading rumors against the Punjab chief minister.
