Wasa MD Directs Officers To Remain Alert

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz Thursday directed the rainwater disposal staff to remain alert as there was possibility of more rain in the city.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2018 ) :Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz Thursday directed the rainwater disposal staff to remain alert as there was possibility of more rain in the city.
According to Wasa sources, today rain started in the provincial capital at 11:40am which continued till 12:55pm, the maximum rain (55 milimeter) was recorded in Qartaba Chowk.
As rain started, the WASA staff began working along with its machinery.
The MD said that rainwater disposal in various areas of the city was completed in two hours which helped people to continue their works smoothly.
