Water level Monday dropped to only 9,961 cusecs in River Chenab near here.
SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :Water level Monday dropped to only 9,961 cusecs in River Chenab near here.
According to senior officials of the Sialkot Irrigation Department, the water level was continuously dropping in River Chenab due to no rains.
The main MR Link Canal has been closed for the last one-and-a-half months. Local farmers are facing severe shortage.
