Weak Performance Of Previous Govts, Corruption Hit Sate Institutions: Wada

ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Nov, 2018 ) :Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Wada on Tuesday said that weak performance of previous governments and corruption of political figures had damaged the state institutions.

The people having affiliations with political parties, who were in power, got employment in PIA without following merit, he stated while talking to a private news channels.

He said due to corruption in every institution, the PTI government was facing challenges.

To a question he said Ishaq Dar was seeking asylum in the United Kingdom for avoiding corruption cases in Pakistan.

Appreciating Prime Minister Imran Khan's role after coming into power, he said the world had acknowledged his honesty and credibility of the PTI chief.

The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government, he said, was making all out efforts to put the country on path of speedy progress.

To a question he said the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was in jail due to corruption charges.

The institutions like PIA had been suffering from the political appointments made by the past governments of the Pakistan Peoples Party and PML-N, he added.

Replying to another question, he said Aleema Khan, sister of the prime minister, had no links with politics or the government. She was running her own business, he added.
