RIYADH (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 22nd March, 2019) Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the light of islam was spreading all around and the darkness of ignorance in Europe and the west was dissipating.Speaking at a reception hosted in his honour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he said that highly qualified people in the western world, including doctors, engineers, educationists, science graduates and even film artists were entering Islam's fold in large numbers. He said, this was an alarming situation and a serious threat for the western colonialism and its allies who had been ruling the world so far.Sirajul Haq, who has been re-elected as the JI Ameer for the second time, told Young Professionals Forum that western think tanks and analysts were of the view that after three decades, Islam would be the largest religion in Europe and the west.
He said the western colonialism wanted to check the spread of Islam. That was why the western agencies were preparing and printing profane caricatures of the Prophet of Islam, setting on fire the holy Quran, the last revealed book for the guidance of humanity.
Attacks on the mosques and madrissahs and veiled ladies and forcible removal of the head scarves of the Muslims women, had become a routine.
However, he said, in spite of such negative steps and tactics, the advance of Islam was continuing.Sirajul Haq pointed out that in New Zealand, hundreds of people had embraced Islam after the killings at the Christchurch mosques.
He said that the New Zealand Prime Minister had not only expressed sympathized with the Muslims but also demonstrated her complete solidarity with them by putting on the Islamic dress with dopatta.
He said that the proceedings of the New Zealand parliament began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and its translation.Besides, the Azan for Juma prayer and the entire Juma prayer was directly broadcast and telecast from the NZ tv and radio.
He said that the Prime Minister of Canada had also expressed solidarity with the Muslims and offered them citizenship in his country. The JI chief said that Allah Almighty was creating the situation for Islam's supremacy and the Muslim world and its rulers should step forward and make the best of this opportunity.
