Wikipedia Holds Photography Competition

Wikipedia is holding a photo competition titled 'Loves Wiki Monument' this month with an aim to showcase Pakistan's unique cultural heritage throughout the World.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Sep, 2018 ) :Wikipedia is holding a photo competition titled 'Loves Wiki Monument' this month with an aim to showcase Pakistan's unique cultural heritage throughout the World.

According to a report on Wikipedia, this competition includes diversity and beauty of Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.

"The winner of the competition to close on September 30 will win a travel scholarship to attend the international Wikipedia conference in Sweden in August 2019," the report said on Monday.

Once the campaign is over, a panel of photographic experts will evaluate the best entries according to criteria of quality, originality and usefulness of the image to Wikipedia.
