Women Chamber To Organize Blue Fair In Multan

MULTAN, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI), Multan division, is going to organize Blue Fair here in Mar 2017 to showcase traditional and novelty items prepared by skilled women.

The three to four-day trade exhibition would attract women business entrepreneurs from all the four provinces and Gilgit-Baltistan who would display different traditional items prepared in their respective areas from food to dresses and footwear and others.

Blue fair was also organized last year in Multan and it was named as such because blue is considered as traditional colour prominently visible on monuments decorated with blue tiles designed in 'Kashikari'.

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and other business supporting government bodies would also set up their help desks at the fair to create awareness among the women entrepreneurs on how to penetrate international markets, laws of customs and income tax, and how to get loans to expand businesses.

International and national fame dress designers and other experts would also extend training to women on the occasion.
