Women Delegation Begins China Visit To Explore Biz Opportunities

A women business delegation began a 12-day visit to China to explore business opportunities in various sectors like garments, education, textile, gems and jewellery, knowledge transfer, cosmetics, food, and healthcare etc.
Islamabad, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018) : A women business delegation began a 12-day visit to China to explore business opportunities in various sectors like garments, education, textile, gems and jewellery, knowledge transfer, cosmetics, food, and healthcare etc.
The nine-member delegation of Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) is headed by the founder president of the Chamber Samina Fazil while it also includes Faiza Abbas, Mussarat Jabeen, Saiqa Batool, Shamim Akhter, and Farzana Kausar.
The delegation will attend Canton Fair, hold meetings with businessmen, make contact with various trade officials and explore business opportunities. Before leaving, Samina Fazil said that we are interested in attending Phase 2 and Phase 3 of 123rd session of China Import and Export Fair also known as the "Canton Fair", established since 1957 and and never been interrupted.
These phases will be showing daily consumer goods, gifts and home decoration products, textile and garment, shoes, cases and bags, recreation products, medicine and healthcare products and food.She said that we want to see that how the Chinese economy is shifting from high-speed development to quality development and the friendly nation contributing towards the prosperity of Pakistan in many ways including the CPEC.
The delegation will also visit Yiwu, a city famous for its small commodity trade and vibrant market in a bid to expand the economic and trade ties and between Pakistan and China. Last year the IWCI delegation had a successful visit to China, they create market linkages and also placed orders which has encouraged them to plan another visit.
