Women Vital To National Development: Governor Punjab

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Aug, 2024) Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that women play key role in the development of societies and it is important to provide them good education.

Talking to a women delegation led by President, PPP Central Punjab Women Wing Samina Khalid Ghurki during a meeting at the Governor’s House here on Wednesday, he said he, as chancellor of public sector universities, had passed special instructions for improvement of female hostels in the universities of Punjab.

The PPP Central Punjab Women Wing office-bearers congratulated the Governor of Punjab on assuming the office of Governor.

The Governor said it is very important to provide education opportunities to women so that the societies can develop.

He further said that the doors of Governor House Lahore are open to everyone including party workers. He further said that Pakistan People's Party has always given respect to its workers.

Pakistan Peoples Party's Women office bearers of Sargodha Gujranwala and Sahiwal Divisions included in the delegation.
