Work On Laying Of New Pipeline In Progress To Resolve Issue Of Low Gas Pressure In Peshawar City-GM

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited General Manager Arbab Saqib has said that work on laying of a new pipeline is in progress to resolve the issue of low gas pressure in Peshawar city
Talking to a delegation led by Acting President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Engineer Saad Khan Zahid, GM Sui Gas said that a request for issuance of NOC has been made to KP government for laying of new pipeline.
Arbab Saqib also assured the delegation members that a new pipeline of 16 inches will be laid till January 31 as a result of which the issue of low gas pressure in Hayatabad Industrial Estate and its adjoining areas will be resolved.
SNGPL GM said there was no gas shortage in KP and department was ready to provide RLNG connections to industries. He also assured of resolving the issue of over billing.
Earlier, Acting President SCCI, Engr Saad Khan Zahid briefed SNGPL GM about problem of low gas pressure in Peshawar city and Industrial Estate Hayatabad.
Due to low gas pressure industrial units in Peshawar are not performing with full capacity as a result of which production is affected. They demanded of SNGPL to take practical measures for resolution of these problems.
