Workshop Discusses Innovative Business Models For Young Women Entrepreneurs

Department of Software Engineering, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in collaboration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the IEEE FJWU student branch here on Monday organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop on "Innovative Business Models for Young Women Entrepreneurs".
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :Department of Software Engineering, Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) in collaboration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the IEEE FJWU student branch here on Monday organized a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop on "Innovative Business Models for Young Women Entrepreneurs". Engineer Humaira Sajjad, Assistant Manager, Technology Incubation Center, (NUST) was the chief guest on the occasion.
Humaira Sajjad discussed about normal terms related to entrepreneurship e.g. vitamins and painkillers.
She related these things to entrepreneurship and elaborated that Vitamins are called those things which neither are not needed at a spot.
Painkillers are the things which we need at a spot.
Students said through this workshop, they have learnt that how they can start their own business (being a young women) at a lower level.
Also students told that they have learned how first they must have an idea that what they are going to initiate.
Secondly, they have to check its feasibility by performing validation. They have to check the available resource, that whither the is idea profitable for them in future or not.
Dean of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Uzaira Rafique gave vote of thanks to the honorable guests and presented the university souvenir to the worthy speaker.
