A day-long capacity building workshop "Child Protection Awareness Programme" for Karachi Police was held at the office of DIG West Zone here on Saturday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Nov, 2018 ) :A day-long capacity building workshop "Child Protection Awareness Programme" for Karachi Police was held at the office of DIG West Zone here on Saturday.

The workshop was aimed at providing the protection to the children against violence, exploitation and abuse, said a statement.

The workshop was jointly organized by the district Central police and Initiator Human Development Foundation (IHDF).

Among others, SSP district Central Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao, the male officers, lady officers and complaint handling staff of the District Central attended the workshop.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IHDF Rana Asif Habib briefed the participants of the workshop with regard to various aspects of the Child Protection Awareness Programmes of IHDF.
