World Bee Day Observed, Stakeholders Demands Government Support

All Pakistan Beekeeper Exporter and Honey Traders Association (APBE) here Monday observed World Bee Day to mark importance of honeybee demanding government of steps and support to stakeholders in increasing production

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2019 ) :All Pakistan Beekeeper Exporter and Honey Traders Association (APBE) here Monday observed World Bee Day to mark importance of honeybee demanding government of steps and support to stakeholders in increasing production.

In this regard a rally led by President APBE, Saleem Khan was carried out that started from G.T.Road and culminated at Press Club.

The rally was largely participated by honeybee traders, exporters and general public.

Speaking on the occasion Saleem Khan said that May 20 has been observed as World Bee Day across the globe. He said that as an agriculture country we have to mark this day with an aim and objective to create awareness and strengthen honey production sector.

He also demanded Federal and provincial government for ban of illicit forest cutting and pesticides to save the bees' generations and increase the production of honey.
