World Book Day Marked At E-Library

The World Book Day was marked at E-Library District Sports Gymnasium to create awareness among the masses about importance of book reading here on Monday.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2018 ) :The World Book Day was marked at E-Library District sports Gymnasium to create awareness among the masses about importance of book reading here on Monday.

A ceremony was organised here in which a large number of students and civil society members participated. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest of the ceremony Campus Incharge National College of business Administration and Economics Dr Asad Ali said that youth should move towards book reading, adding that book lover nations had made progress in the world.

Prof Dr Shahabuddin while addressing the ceremony stressed the need for book reading and said books are always good friends. Prof Azam of Govt Post Graduate College of Commerce Multan and others also spoke.

Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum and Principal Commerce College Shahid Hussain Nadeem were the guest of honour. Librarian of E-Library Muhammad Saleem briefed the participants about facilities being provided to citizens in the library.
