World Should Compel India To Resolve Kashmir Issue: Farooq

RAWALPINDI, Jan 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Jan, 2017 ) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Saturday the world community to compel India to implement resolutions passed by United Nations for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
Addresing the Rawalpindi District Bar Association here, he said Kashmir was a core issue between Pakistan and India and implementation of the UN resolutions for its resolution was imperative. The international community should press India to give Kashmiris their right of self-determination, he added.
He denounced ongoing Indian atrocities in held Kashmir, saying that Kashmir was the jugular vein of Pakistan.
The sacrifices of Kashmiri people would not go waste and Kashmir would get liberation from the Indian occupation.
He lauded the Rawalpindi District Bar Association which always raised voice for Kashmir cause. District Bar Association President Shaukat Rauf Saddique, General Secretary Bilal Qayyum Khan, Vice President Zameer Abbasi, Joint Secretary Umair Qadeer Malik, Member Punjab Bar Council Syed Intizar Mehdi Shah, Sajjad Akbar Abbasi, Chaudhry Wasif, Principal Muslim Law College Saira Bashir and a large number of lawyers attended the meeting.
