Youm-e-Ashur To Be Observed With Religious Solemnity In Sialkot

Youm-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram would be observed with reverence, religious solemnity in the district amid tight security on Friday.

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :Youm-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram would be observed with reverence, religious solemnity in the district amid tight security on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tahir Watto told the newsmen that as 154 Tazia, Alam and Zuljinnah processions will be taken out in the district which would pass through their traditional routes.

The hundreds of the Majaalis would also be held in different parts the district. The processions would be terminated at the main Imambargahs in Imam Sahib Chowk, Adda Pasruriyan and the other Zuljinnah processions coming from the different areas will merge in the main processions at Chowk Shaheedaan Sialkot city.

The Zakirs, Naat Khwaans and other religious scholars will also highlight the significance of the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his companions who laid down their lives for supremacy of justice and righteousness.

Sham-e- Ghareeban Majaalis will be held in which the faithful will express grief at the treatment meted out to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS)and his near and dear ones.
