KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2021 ) :The Youm-ul-Quds to be observed on Friday throughout the Sindh province to express solidarity with Palestinians in their struggle against Israeli occupation and atrocities.
It was announced by General Secretary Majlis Whadat-e-Muslimeen Sindh Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, President MWM Karachi division Allama Sadiq Jaffri, Ali Anwer, Naqi Zafar and Nasir Hussain while addressing a press club here at Karachi Press Club on Thursday.
Al-Quds is an annual event observed on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan across the globe to express solidarity with Palestinians.
The MWM leader informed that rallies would be brought out in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah and other major cities and towns of Sindh with observation of Coronavirus SOPs while special prayers would be offered after Jumatul Wida (the last Friday) prayers for liberation of oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir.
Israel was inflicting inhuman atrocities on innocent population of Palestine since decades but could not subdue their will for freedom, they said adding that time was not far away when struggle by people of Palestine and Kashmir would succeed.
Kashmir is jugular vein of Pakistan while Palestine is jugular vein of entire Muslim Ummah, they opined and stressed upon the Muslims of world to join hands at this critical times.
They demanded of the government to observe officially the last Friday of Ramzan ul Mubarak as Youm-ul-Quds while resolution to be tabled and approved in national and provincial assemblies in this regard.
