ZA Bhutto's 89th Birth Anniversary Observed

The cake-cutting ceremony was arranged by the local PPP leadership held at Laiqat bagh . Former Rawalpindi city President Amir Fida Pircha on the occasion said ZAB devoted his life for the rights of the people and democracy.
He said that the constitution of 1973, which was passed with the consensus of all political parties through parliament at that time, was a big achievement of ZAB.
"ZAB wanted to strengthen democracy in the country and accepted death in the struggle for the rights of the poor and powerless of the society", he said, adding that Bhutto refused to bow before the dictatorship.
People Students Federation (PSF), People Youth Organisation (PYO), Lady Wing (LW) , People Lawyers Forums (PLF)and People�s Unity of PIA also participated in the event. APP/tah/kmd
