First-ever Images Of Jupiter’s North Pole

Washington, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd September, 2016) : NASA has released the first-ever images of Jupiter’s North Pole on Friday, September 2. After the agency’s Juno spacecraft completed a voyage of the planet last weekend, they revealed unique characteristics of the solar system’s largest planet.
According to NASA, the weather activity and storm systems depicted in the images have never seen before on giant gaseous planets. The spacecraft, which arrived at Jupiter on July 4, traveled about 2,500 miles above Jupiter’s clouds.
