Soon after that, it was reported that Arjun is in a relationship with Athiya which began during the shooting of their film, Mubarakan. However, none of it was confirmed by these actors at that time.

Thereafter the rumours died down and currently, Arjun and Malaika are in a steady relationship.Now as per reports in Spotboye, Athiya is keeping a safe distance fromArjun and his family after Malaika's proximity with them increased.

The report also said that Athiya shared a warm friendship with Arjun's sister Anshula Kapoor, however, that's not the case anymore. It is said that their hangouts have decreased and Athiya's relationship with Arjun is zilch now.

However, going by the recent tweet of Athiya looks like all is well between Arjun and her.Athiya applauded the first look of Arjun's upcoming film, India's Most Wanted. She quote tweeted his tweet by writing, "winner, winner!"Recently Bombay Times quizzed Malaika about her impending marriage with Arjun and whether she will be tying the knot in both Hindu and Christian style.

To which she replied, "There is no truth to these silly speculations." Earlier, in an interview with Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, Malaika laughed off all rumours of a Church wedding with Arjun. She had said, "Oh God! No No. It's all media made."It was reported that Malaika and Arjun are likely to tie the knot on April 19, 2019.
