Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap shared a few months ago about her diagnosis of breast cancer. Tahira had to go through 12 rounds of chemotherapy and as one of the side-effects of chemo, she started losing her hair.

She shared new pictures on social media with shaved hair.

Tahira is wearing a blue T-shirt and big glasses as she strikes a pose in her bald look.

Posting the picture on her social media handles, Tahira said she feels liberated to let go of hair extensions.

“Hello world! That’s a new me with the old self! Was getting tired of the extensions, so this is how it is and it’s so liberating in every sense of the word, so much so that I don’t have to duck the shower while bathing or while picking up the soap!”

She continued with the painful post, saying, “I never thought I would go bald, was stretching my time with the good ol’ cap for too long.

Ayushmann re-tweeted Tahira’s post and called her a “hottie”.

Meanwhile, actress Deepika Padukone also retweeted her, calling the picture ‘hot’.
