MUMBAI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2018 ) The arrest of Bollywood actor Salman Khan is not only a loss for him but for the industry as well as the superstar has already signed projects of around Rs 800 crore.
Analysts worry if Khan is not granted a bail, it will be a huge loss for Bollywood. The actor had already signed ‘Race 3’ whose cost amounts to Rs 125 crore. There were only a few days of shoot left when Khan was arrested yesterday.
The movie is set to release on Eid-ul-Fitr. Another big production was ‘Bharat’, which will be filmed at Rs 200 crore. Its shooting was to begin from June. ‘Kick 2’ to be filmed at Rs 100 crore and ‘Dabang 3’ were among other projects to be taken by the actor.
Kick 2 was to release next year in January while Dabang 3’s shooting had to begin from mid of this year. Not only that, he had his own productions lined up, including ‘Loveratri’ starring his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
The movie was set to release in September 2018. Reality tv show ‘Big Boss’ for which Khan charges around Rs 11 crore per episode will also go out of his hands. The actor was also offered to host ’10 ka Dum’ after some nine years and was charging Rs 78 crore for 20 episodes of the show.
Its promo was to go on air in June. The actor, sponsored by several brands, had earned Rs 232.83 crore in 2017 as listed in the year’s Forbes India Celebrity 100 List.
