Coke Studio Sensation Sara Haider Receives Charles Jehlinger Award

Sara Haider will also be the first Pakistani at Juilliard School with full scholarship.

After winning over the hearts of Pakistanis with her debut at Coke Studio, she has now graduated from the prestigious American academy of Dramatic Arts.

She delivered the commencement speech at the gruduated and also received the acclaimed Charles Jehlinger Award for excellence in acting.

Sharing a clip from her speech on her Instagram, Sara Haider wrote, “We introduce Sara Haider- the 2019 graduating class Student Speaker and recipient of this years Charles Jehlinger Award for excellence in Acting.” 134 years, one Pakistani.

The Charles Jehlinger Award is given to students who come closest to personifying Jehlinger’s ideals by exhibiting excellence as a person and an artist and who display professionalism towards the art.

Her sister Erum Haider said in her tweet that Sara has also been accepted on full scholarship to globally recognized Julliard as well.

She will be the first Pakistani at Juilliard school with full scholarship.
