Humayun Saeed shares pictures from SCO film fest closing ceremony

The SCO film festival was held in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province from June 13 to June 17, 2018.

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th June, 2018) Pakistani actors were in China to attend Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Film Festival.

Humayun Saeed was accompanied by co-actor Mehwish Hayat. The two represented their movies Jawani Phir Nahi Ani and Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

The actor also shared some pictures from the closing ceremony of the SCO Film Festival.

Earlier, Humayun shared a picture with Mehwish on his Instagram from the airport lounge as he departed for China.

“Off to China for a film festival along with our films #JawaniPhirNahiAni and #PunjabNahiJaungi,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Pakistani actress Syra Shahroz’s debut film Chalay Thay Sath was also screened at the SCO Film Festival in China.

The Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage had selected Chalay Thay Saath to represent Pakistan at the Infocus programme as well as the FilmMart expo in China.

Sharing her experience at the festival while posting a picture on Instagram, Syra said, “My feelings exactly as I head back home to my family that I have missed oh so much! Especially my little bubblegum. Having said that, I cannot deny how exhilarating this experience has been. China, you were absolutely awe-inspiring. Till we meet again.”

The SCO film festival was held in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province from June 13 to June 17, 2018. Pakistan was one of the 12 countries to have been invited to participate in the SCO festival.
