Disney movies were earlier not being screened across the country as Disney's regional office did not give Pakistan the rights to run it."Captain Marvel," the first Marvel superhero film with a female character in top billing which opened on March 8 worldwide, was not released in Pakistan.

However, Atrium Cinemas announced on Twitter that the film will be released on April 26.Further, Nueplex Cinemas shared that "Captain Marvel" and "Dumbo" are also "coming soon".Shazam! a 2019American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name is also releasing onApril 5.Advance ticket sales for Marvel superhero movie "Avengers: Endgame" on Tuesday surpassed the last two "Star Wars" films, and some appeared on resale platforms with asking prices of up to $500 each.
