Sahiba, Dua Malik Take Up Nadia Hussain’s Woke Up This Way Challenge

Nadia Hussain started the woke up this way challenge to help support the journey back to realness with no filter, no makeup and no hair product.

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th July, 2018) Former Lollywood actress Sahiba Rambo and model Dua Malik came forward to take up the #wokeupthiswaychallenge initiated by super model Nadia Hussain.

Posting a picture on her Instagram of how she woke up, Sahiba said that since no one accepted Nadia’s dare, she decided to step up.

“Since no one accepted your dare @nadiahussain_khan I decided to step up 💃🏼#nomakeup #nofilter #justwokeup” she wrote.

Meanwhile, model and actress Dua Malik also accepted the challenge and poster her no makeup selfie.

Dua said that if there was a video challenge, people would have seen her waking up to the horn of garbage collector and to the noise of her kids asking for breakfast. She said that we all have acne scars, dark circles, black heads, facial hair and what not, and added that we don’t sleep with photoshop.

“If here was a video challenge of how I woke up you would have seen me waking up to the horn of garbage collector how I rush to tell my maid to give him the garbage of the house, how I wake up to the noise of kids asking for breakfast. Yes we all have acne scars, dark circles, black heads, facial hair and what not. thats life! we dont sleep with photoshop. #wokeuplikethis,” Dua Malik wrote.

Nadia Hussain lauded the two ladies for taking up the challenge.

In her recent post, the top model used the hashtag #wokeupthiswaychallenge to bring some realness to social media and destroy the ever-growing perception of perfection behind the screens.

The model nominated fellow women in the industry to continue with the challenge, including Mawra Hocane, Mahira Khan, Sajal Aly and Ayesha Omar.

However, she was greatly bullied for posting this picture, as people called out the model for being a makeup and screen beauty only but she had a stronger reply to this.
