T-Series Restores Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam Songs On YouTube Channel

Indian record label T-Series has restored songs by Pakistani artists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam on its YouTube channel

Mumbai (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th March, 2019) Indian record label T-Series has restored songs by Pakistani artists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam on its YouTube channel.Songs by the Pakistani artists had been removed in reaction to the Pulwama attack in Indian occupied Kashmir.Prior to the Pulwama attack, Atif Aslam had announced on Twitter that his new song Baarisheinwould be released by T-Series. However, shortly after its release the song was removed along with Zindagi,a song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.These and other songs by the Pakistani artists can now be found once again on the T-Series YouTube channel.

Indian music company T-Series had pulled down all the songs by Pakistani singers from their YouTube channel following Pulwama attack that killed 40 Indian soldiers.

Indian far-right political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had asked all the music companies to stop working with Pakistani artists.

“We have verbally communicated to Indian music companies like T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers. These companies should stop it immediately or we will take action in our own style,” an MNS leader had said.
