This Bollywood Director Once Hurled A Shoe At Kangana Ranaut

Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel has has accused Mahesh Bhatt of throwing a 'chappal' at 19-year-old Kangana during the screening of Woh Lamhe in 2006.

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th April, 2019) Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is often seen spitting venom against Pakistan, was herself hurled a shoe by veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel has has accused Mahesh Bhatt of throwing a 'chappal' (shoe) at 19-year-old Kangana during the screening of Woh Lamhe in 2006.

Rangoli revealed this in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging website Twitter.

The conversation started when Soni Razdan, Alia Bhatt’s mother, accused Kangana for attacking Alia Bhatt and her despite the fact that she got her first break through her husband Mahesh Bhatt. Mahesh was the producer of Gangster, Kangana’s first film directed by Anurag Basu.

As Kangana Ranaut is not on Twitter, her sister Rangoli Chandel jumped to her defence.

Lashing out at Kangana, Soni Razdan wrote, ''Mahesh Bhatt is the man who has given her a break .

.. she goes on to attack his wife and daughter. Daughter over and over again. What is left to be said then about abusing and hatred I wonder. Apart from character of course. Agenda ? What’s hers...?"

Although Soni Razdan had deleted the tweet, it had already come to the attention of Kangana and her sister.

Rangoli then said that Mahesh Bhatt never gave Kangana a break as claimed by her. She said that the break was given by Anurag Basu.

In another tweet, she revealed after Woh Lamhe, when Kangana refused to do a film written by Mahesh Bhatt, the director got upset and shouted at her in his office.
