13th State Bank Governor's Cup: HBL, NBP Teams Qualify For Final

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) teams have qualified for 13th State Bank Governor's Cup Inter-Bank Regional cricket Tournament final by defeating their rival teams.
The tournament was played at Inzimam-ul-Haq sports ground. The first semi-final match was played between Bank Al-Falah and Habib Bank Limited (HBL). Bank Al-Falah won the toss and decided to field first.
The HBL team scored 184 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Bank Al-Falah team could score 155 runs all-out in 19.5 overs. Muhammad Nadeem from HBL was declared the Man of the Match.
The second semi-final was played between the NBP and First Micro-Finance Bank. The NBP team won the toss and decided to field. The First Micro-Finance Bank scored 148 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
The NBP team achieved the target in 16.1 overs for the loss of four wickets. Muhammad Kashif from NBP team was declared the Man of the Match. The final would be played on Saturday (Nov 12), while a friendly match would be played between Multan Bankers Club-II and Regional Chief-II before the final match, in which regional heads from all banks would participate.
