3000 Sportsmen, Women To Participate In 1st Sports Gala For Merged Districts

As many as 3,000 sportsmen and women from the merged districts would participate in the first ever sport gala being organized at Jamrud Sports Complex in district Khyber for merged districts after FATA merger

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :As many as 3,000 sportsmen and women from the merged districts would participate in the first ever sport gala being organized at Jamrud Sports Complex in district Khyber for merged districts after FATA merger.

Senior Minister for Sports Atif Khan would inaugurate the sports gala where competition would be held in 32 different categories including Athletics, Archery, Basketball, Badminton, food ball, boxing, cycling, gymnastic, Hockey, Kabadi, Shooting, Tug of War, Table Tennis, Bodybuilding, Weightlifting, and five games of females.

Senior Minister Atif Khan said that for the first time such a big event is being organized in merged districts to give a strong message to the world that tribal people are peaceful.
