41st Inter-university Women Badminton Championship Begins In Multan

The 41st All Pakistan inter-university women Badminton championship 2018 began at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) here Wednesday.
MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2018 ) :The 41st All Pakistan inter-university women Badminton championship 2018 began at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) here Wednesday.
Exactly 150 players from 22 universities from all over the country are participating in the championship being organized by MNSUA in cooperation with Higher education Commission (HEC). Eleven matches of pre-quarter final stage were decided on the opening day, said a press release issued by MNSUA spokesman.
Fatima Jinah University Rawalpindi defeated University of Kotli (AJK), University of Lahore defeated Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai University, University of Management and Technology Lahore defeated Sargodha University, Quaid-e-Awan University of Engineering and Science Technology Nawabshah defeated Liaquat University of Health Management Sciences, Islamia University Bahawalpur defeated Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Iqra University Karachi defeated host (MNSUA Multan), Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan defeated University of Lahore, University of Management Technology Lahore defeated Institute of business Administration Karachi, GC University Faisalabad defeated Comsats Islamabad, Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering and Science Technology defeated Buton University Quetta, and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore defeated Lahore College for women.
A large number of university students besides MNSUA director sports Arqam Iqbal, coach Qaisar Javed and other officials were present.
